Earlier this year, Tada was named a 2021 Cool Vendor based on the Gartner Cool Vendors in Data Management report. Shortly after, Tada was invited to participate in a roundtable discussion with the other Cool Vendors and Gartner analysts. In this blog post, we'll share some of the key themes from that discussion.
The roundtable discussion included representatives from 5 Cool Vendors: Alation, TADA, Varada, Atlan and Soda. The discussion was moderated by Gartner VP Analyst Eric Thoo and Gartner Sr Director Analyst Ehtisham Zaidi.
The Gartner analysts noted that the data management landscape is rapidly evolving, with new technologies and approaches emerging quickly. They highlighted the importance of data fabrics, which provide a unified view of data across the enterprise, enabling better decision-making and analytics. TADA's platform is built on a data fabric architecture, which enables it to integrate data from multiple sources and provide a comprehensive view of the supply chain.
The roundtable participants discussed the importance of data quality in enabling effective analytics and decision-making. Poor data quality can lead to incorrect insights and bad decisions. TADA's platform includes data quality capabilities that help ensure data accuracy and completeness, enabling better decision-making.
The roundtable highlighted the importance of collaboration in driving better outcomes from data management investments. This includes collaboration between data teams and business users, as well as collaboration with suppliers and other partners across the supply chain. TADA's platform is designed to enable collaboration across the supply chain, making it easy for supply chain teams to share data and insights with their suppliers and customers.
